If you didn't think GreenRingofLife/Bungie/Whomeve r wasn't misinformed before...LOL
This is good for creative freedom and core gamers!
I applaud Microsoft for doing this!

you are about four months too late...and about 60 billion off. The link is real-time btw.

Sorry about below
I don't consider the people who give me PSN a GAME studio. I do understand programming is as much for the hardware as it is the software, but I'm talking software. More specifically software for the 360. Not yesterday's 360 games - some studios are inactive or were short-term to begin with. And not some studio that's around to fill in as help or work on the GUI.
For the PS3, we have Zipper (MAG) Santa MONICA! (GOW) Polyphony (wait for it...GT5) Liverpool ...
Microsoft could buy up a whole hell of a lot of studios, true. The question then is "Why haven't they. That's what is funny. Despite all the studios you mention, they still rely on Epic and Activision to remain relevant.
Why? Because ironically lramo is only mentioning relevant studios! Really you might as well as throw in the Windows Vista team.

Pre-ordered today. This will pull me away from MAG for a week or so.
No argument here. Agreed. I concur.
I don't think a Star Wars game has ever had to "encapsulate the very aspect...blah blah blah". The genius of this high fantasy/sci-fi story carries itself across media via the imaginations of its fans. I think all that is left is for a game to be epic on its own merits. KOTOR being exemplary title.
Perhaps with KOTOR you mean the immersion of being a Jedi has been the Holy Grail of the Star Wars experience...but there's nothing a good blaster can't ha...
The only thing I didn't like about the first was the hit or miss platforming. Everything else was well done.
If you are a Star Wars fan, it is a must buy for the story alone. The story was surprisingly well-woven into the mythos . I was expecting another Lethal Alliance and was already won over by the force powers/light-saber gameplay. I was real frustrated with the platforming so much, I put it down. But a certain cameo made me stick with a game - it was filling in ...
I'm of the belief a good deal of people deserve to have a foot planted up their butts, especially teenagers. I think if you are rude, racist, acting like a typical teenager...and someone beats you down, you have no right to feel like a victim.
"Nyet. This will never define video games, hotness."
Like to see more of the blonde. She purty, but wrong. Games are entertainment. A workout is a workout and more fun/appropriate outside than inside...not to mention your living room.
What is cool about Kinect is all the information that it takes in for your workout. I think between this and the dancing thing, Kinect has its toe hold in the casual market. But it is not enough. We already hav...
They are pot-committed like in poker. So much invested they just putting more in it hoping it will pay off.
Thanks for your impressions!
Atatakai-LOL
Yer such a fanboy "Look at everything happening around you!". Maybe in the beta buddy, but the only things moving in that alpha code were you and what you are shooting at.
Excited about Killzone Tres, aren't we!! :)
The real games will compete against Kinect in December: Heavy Rain Move Edition, Time Crisis, Sly Cooper. Plus more in 2011. Microsoft, Kinect better be able to bring it!
Sony should market Heavy Rain w/ Move to the Oprah crowd.
500 million in advertising is for the whole year not just launch. They want to sell more than $500 million for launch - 3 million worth of product.
I suck at it personally. The issue is I can't keep my hand steady enough while moving. I even bought Resident Evil Gold Edition to try it, and now I want to get rid of the game (IM me for trade).
Games made for Move have been cool (i.e., Tumble and Sport Champions). Looking forward to Heavy Rain Move Edition.
Embargo - having a game reviewed, but review is not published until day of launch.
Here - no product, no review...?
No matter, smart money's waiting until after Kinect launches.
True, but I like what they showed at TGS...promising. I'm sure MS doesn't want to confuse the casuals, but Kinect needs to cater to the core gamers...you know the ones who actually buy games, as in plural.
